What Went Wrong?

After looking at countless ads and conducting a couple interviews with people, Scott and I finally found a babysitter (Staci) that we felt comfortable with and who was close and affordable. Oh, and watched kids on the weekends. So tonight was the first time we used her and it didn't go as planned. It was supposed to be from 2-6pm. Just a 4 hour period to see how he'd do and Scott and I just went home to watch some TV and relax since he starts work at 7:30pm. About an hour and a half after we left, she calls us because Damien has been crying nonstop and the only way for him to even be somewhat calm is if she's holding him. He didn't want to play or eat anything either. So of course, Scott and I go get him. We don't know what happened. During the interview, Damien was super comfortable and playful. But I guess 10 min after we left him there, he was upset. We're also not sure if he was scared of their dog. Really friendly dog and all, but Staci even put him behind a gate so the dog wasn't bothering Damien. We'll have to try again some other time. I just didn't think this was going to be an issue.
