Hearing Test

I took Damien in for his hearing test today. I was SO proud of him because he was so well behaved. Anyways, the lady said it appears that he has some fluid (no infection) and it's common for children his age and that it could sometimes affect his ability to hear sounds as clearly as he should...which COULD cause speech delays if it's on-going. So a follow up appointment is scheduled for the end of Nov to see if it clears up, stays the same, or gets worse...and then go from there. If it's still an issue, they'll refer us to a ear/nose/throat person and maybe put in some tubes. So I guess we'll see what happens.
