I'm not really sure what to do about Damien and his lack of desire to walk. He's quite ridiculous about it. Scott and I will try to have him walk to each other, but it becomes a game to him in which he just lets himself drop and then laughs. He's also developed a habit of becoming dead weight if he thinks he's getting picked up. Like if I reach out my arms to him, he just goes limp. *sigh* What am I going to do with him?
I'm not sure, but I think he is making more of a variety of sounds...or at least more multiple sounds. No words yet, but maybe he's improving. So hard to tell.
Damien and I will be spending a lot more Mother/Son time together in October because Scott's going back to night shift. Since his weekends will be Thursdays and Fridays and he'll be sleeping a lot during my weekends...I need to come up with something for Damien and I to do together. I took him for a 35 min walk today in our village. I need other things too though...maybe something where he could be a little more active. Not much to do since he's not walking. I need ideas!
